Chris will be the first African American to drop into the jaws break in history. With the SHACC having a massive archive of surfing footage, capturing this alone will be excellent for the archive.
Beyond just capturing this historical drop-in, the overall “rags to riches” story is something Make.Believe’s connections and avenues in hollywood are saying is a perfectly timed compelling tale that networks and audiences are looking for.
Chris was just recently hand-picked by Kai Lenny to be part of his new FORD commercial that features up-and-coming surfing youth in Maui. None of the footage or content is released from the agency at this juncture. It is scheduled to release end of 2023 when we will be releasing social content of Chris dropping into jaws while simultaneously filming for the documentary trailer of their story.
