We follow Benki Piyãko of the Ashaninka people as he takes a spiritual journey down the Amazon. With cameras behind his every step, we follow him into villages along the way for an in depth look into history & culture. Tribes throughout the Amazon have struggled for centuries since the dawn of colonization. See the tribes that are struggling to this day and the flourishing tribes that have dedicated their existence to rebuilding the Amazon rain forest to what it once was.
