THE PROJECT
This big wave season our award winning film team will be partnering with big wave jet ski safety legends to have exclusive access and line-up hierarchy to document the drop-ins and stories at the JAWS break in Maui during what is expected to be a record-setting hurricane swell of world-class surfers.

MAKE.BELIEVE.PICTURES has just secured, safety-outfitted by Maui’s best, and branded SEA DOO’s brand new GTX 300 for JAWS this winter as well as securing exclusive access to film the swells across Maui and Oahu.

We have A STUDIO IN LA as well as a studio facility in an eco-conscious, off-grid facility on the north shore of Maui so that we can be closer to the waves AND CULTURE OF SURFING.
CHRIS NUNEZ
Chris Nuñez is one of the owners of Make.believe.pictures and hails from 20 years of experience in tv on award winning shows such as “MIAMI INK”, “ink masters”, and “tattoo Redo” (not streaming on netflix). Now he’s focusing on pioneering a redifinition of mainstream content with his partners and team at MAKE.believe.pictures.

Jeffrey has been an Art director, Producer and Set Designer for over 30 years in the Film & Television Industry on projects like “Fast & the Furious”, “Straight Outta Compton”,
“Dexter”, “Hacks” and “Our Flag Means Death” series on HBO with Taika Wahtiti , as well as being the CEO of Parker Stone Interiors that specializes in custom commercial interior design for such production companies as Deutsch LA, Steelhead & Lime Studios.
NICK WARAKSA
As an Emmy & Cannes award winning filmmaker, Nick has worked on projects from A-list talent to traveling the world making content for indigenous tribes that the United Nations has credited to gaining them global sovereignty of their cultures.
CHRIS NUÑEZ
Chris Nuñez is a respected figure and influential voice in the world of body art from his decades of television personality work on Ink Masters and Miami ink. Chris is now producing and directing original documentaries and TV shows with Make.Believe.Pictures.
BRYAN MIR
Director and Producer, Bryan Mir, has worked with countless top names in the film and the music industry from John Legend and Sara Bareilles to Slash and Jason Mraz. He now pioneers indigenous content and original TV shows at Make.Believe.Pictures.
